SACA, in partnership with Virgin Active South Africa, has ensured that all members have unlimited free gym membership in South Africa. This benefit is available to members 12 months after the loss of contract/retirement.
Established in 2005, the SACA Retirement Fund provides a crucial financial safety net for professional cricketers, extending beyond retirement savings to include valuable group life, disability, and funeral insurance. Funded through a percentage of player remuneration, it offers a cost-effective pathway to building long-term financial security, with the added option for players to make voluntary top-up contributions. Upon retirement or contract termination, players can transfer their accumulated funds tax-free to another similar fund or withdraw them as cash, subject to standard tax regulations.
Multiply Inspire is Momentum Heath’s rewards programme paid for, on behalf of members, by SACA. Players can earn HealthReturns, paid into their HealthSaver through their engagement with Multiply Inspire.
SACA continues to contribute towards player premiums 12 months after loss of contract/retirement.
