WCA has conducted a comprehensive review of all major domestic leagues globally to develop the Leagues Hub. The hub is designed to better inform players, agents and players’ associations, raise professionalism, and improve the treatment of players in domestic leagues.
The World Cricketers’ Association (WCA) is the global players’ body in cricket. WCA collectively represents the players across the majority of top cricket-playing countries at the global level through their domestic players’ associations, and with over 600 international players participating in its global commercial program.
WCA benefits from the expertise and collaboration of its member players’ associations. It operates in a number of different areas and offers a range of services to both its member players’ associations and the collective of players it represents.

SACA is the players association for cricketers in South Africa. As a registered trade union and collective representative, SACA champions the best interests of players, ensuring fair treatment, competitive compensation, and optimal playing conditions.
The SACA Commercial Programme strategically centralises the collective rights of professional cricketers—including their appearance, likeness, and signatures – to create impactful market partnerships.
The South African Cricketers’ Association (SACA) Player Plus programme is a comprehensive initiative designed to provide professional and semi-professional cricketers in South Africa with the support and resources they need to succeed both in life. Recognizing the unique challenges and demands faced by cricketers, SACA Player Plus offers a wide range of services tailored to their specific needs.
The SACA MVP is a ranking system that awards the Most Valuable Player in a season. It uses a sophisticated algorithm that measures points for runs scored, wickets taken, catches, and dismissals, with a point awarded for winning. These points are accumulated to measure a player’s overall impact on the game, making it a reliable measure of individual excellence in South African cricket
The Player Plus is a SACA flagship player welfare and development programmme designed to support the holistic development of professional and recently retired cricketers, focusing on dual career, healthcare, and personal well-being.
