The Presidents Blog
Welcome to The Presidents Blog!
Thank you for joining us on this platform as we share our experiences of and ideas about cricket and the wonderful (but challenging) life of being a professional athlete.
One of the aims of this blog is to outline and discuss important and relevant work done by SACA, particularly from a player’s perspective, which I will share with you in my role as SACA President.
SACA is a member of the Federation of International Cricketer’s Association (FICA), which is the world cricket players’ body. Importantly, SACA works closely with FICA and the International Cricket Council (ICC) on issues that affect players on both international and domestic levels.
In addition to highlighting all of the above, this blog will profile some of South Africa’s talented cricketers, foreground player matters, promote the player’s perspective, and protect the game we all love.
